love game

I have you in my line of sight
assuming a stance as if taunting me
to come closer and touch

carefully I carve
a path to you
painting the lines with hues
left behind by a beautiful stroke
of rainbow

heart bounces crazily
as though wanting to break out
of the rib cage
offering itself
hoping you would take
a slice

never seen it coming, hope hanging
on a string
heartaches returned
hitting me as fast
as moonball
